P.I.G.S. by Claire Fontaine was burned down on November 10th!
Regina Gallery is pleased to inform you that installation P.I.G.S. by Claire Fontaine was burned down on November 10th. Title of the work uses the acronym created by financial media to pejoratively refer to Portugal, Italy, Greece and Spain since the late 2000s recession. P.I.G.S. is also the name of one of the three installations of the exhibition, a map of Europe that only shows Portugal, Italy, Greece and Spain, created with hundreds of matchsticks to be ignited during the exhibition.
